Christmas Tree Collection

In accordance with PA DEP regulations, residents are not permitted to place yard waste at curbside for garbage collection.  The only exception to this is grass clippings which should be placed in plastics bags and put out with your regular trash.

Franklin Park Borough offers curbside Christmas Tree collection in January of each year. Christmas Trees should be placed at the curb on the calendar dates listed by 6:00 AM.  The Public Works Department will only make one trip for each scheduled collection.  Depending on weather conditions and the amount of trees placed at the curb, it could take a full week to collect the trees.  It is still important that the tree is placed at the curb on the Mondays specified.  DO NOT leave plastic bags or any decorations on the tree.

Trees that do not make the curbside collection can be taken to Blueberry Hill Park, and placed next to the brush chipping pile (look for appropriate signage).  Please do not place trees at the Yard Waste or Leaf Bag Drop Off Sites.
