Recreation Board

Overview

The Recreation Board is an advisory Board to Borough Council responsible for recreation issues and implementation of parks and recreation programs, including the Festival in the Park, and holiday events.  Candidates must first attend/participate in three (3) Recreation Board meetings or events prior to being considered for appointment.  Please contact Zach Brower, Recreation Director at 412-364-4115, ext. 347 or zbrower@franklinparkborough.us for more information. 

The Recreation Board consists of 9 members, appointed by Borough Council for five-year terms.

If you are interested in being considered as a member, applications can be submitted one of the following ways:

• Complete the online Board and Commission Application and submit it electronically with the required documents.  The Background Investigation Authorization form and Statement of Financial Interests form can be accessed through the online form.
• Complete the Board and Commission Application Form, submit the application, letter of interest and/or resume, Background Investigation Authorization form, and Statement of Financial Interests to the Borough Secretary at ckrummert@franklinparkborough.us or send to 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, PA  15237.
