Andrew Nock

Andy is a lifetime resident of Franklin Park and a life member of the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company.  As a graduate of North Allegheny School District and A.W. Beattie Technical School, he worked several years as a local PA Certified State Safety Inspection Mechanic.  He later transitioned to Retail Administration at a home improvement center to allow a flexible schedule to earn a Computer Assisted Design and Drafting degree with Auto-CAD. 
After college Andy hired on with a Pittsburgh based international manufacturing company as a CAD Operator designing steel rule cutting dies for the Packaging Industry.  He advanced through several manufacturing and administrative roles until he became a Division Environmental, Safety, Health, and Process Improvement Coordinator.  In that role he was responsible for assisting multiple branches across the United States with ISO 9001, Lean Sigma, Workers Compensation Claim Management, and OSHA / EPA / DOT / IATA regulatory compliance.
After changes in the packaging industry resulted in the Pittsburgh manufacturing facility relocating to Ohio and Missouri, Andy decided to remain here in Franklin Park and broaden his horizons yet again.  He started with Franklin Park as an appointed part time Fire Inspector, and is now Deputy Fire Official and Assistant Building Inspector.
