SPRING BRUSH CHIPPING

Spring brush chipping will begin the week of April 3, 2023. The chipping service is for brush and tree trimmings only. The Public Works Department (PWD) will make one pass through the Borough to chip any brush/tree trimmings residents have placed at the curb. All brush must be at the curb by 7:00 AM Monday, April 3, 2023. Depending on the amount of brush placed at the curb it could take the PWD several days to cover the entire Borough. SPRING LEAF BAG COLLECTION

The first week of Spring leaf bag collection will be April 3rd. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT RESIDENTS UTILIZE THE CURBSIDE COLLECTION PROCESS. In the past few years residents have been taking their leaf bags to the drop off site at Blueberry Hill Park. We ask that you please utilize the curbside service during the scheduled collection weeks instead. Leaves must be placed in biodegradable bags. Leaf bags must be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM Monday morning of each week. Leave enough room at the top of the bag to either fold or roll it down to close. Depending on the number of bags out it could take a few days for Waste Management to cover the entire Borough. Leaf bag collection will continue the following week: April 10th.
