NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Franklin Park, 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN) at www.questcdn.com until 11:00 AM prevailing time on March 13, 2023 for:
CONTRACT NO. 23-R01
CURB AND GUTTER REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
FOR 2024 ROAD PAVING PROGRAM
The scope of work consists of spot removal and replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, and spot saw cutting and sealing of existing concrete curbs, an add alternate for installation of concrete sidewalks along various roadways throughout the Borough of Franklin Park.
All work shall be constructed according to the Contract Drawings and Specifications which are on file at the office of the Owner and Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc., 846 Fourth Avenue, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108-1522.
All bidders are required to buy the full set of specifications in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 from QuestCDN using project number 8400920. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE.
Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Franklin Park.
The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
